New to Sunday Worship?

Full-Church1While our Sunday services are rooted in Congregational tradition our members come from many different religious backgrounds and have all found a home here. Our Sunday services have a mixture of hymns, prayer and Scripture reading and culminate in Biblically based sermons that appeal to both heart and head. Communion is served on the first Sunday of each month.

Our Sunday Service Schedule*

8:00am A new format for this service will see us meeting in the Memorial Garden as long as weather allows. Each week communion will be served by intinction, and there will be hymns with piano accompaniment. This service is more casual than our 9:30 or 11:15 am services.
9:30am Traditional service of worship in the Meeting House accompanied by the Chancel Choir. Communion is served the first Sunday of each month.  Child care is provided.
Children through grade seven attend church school.  Eighth graders attend Confirmation Classes.
10:30am Coffee and fellowship in Smith Hall. All adults and children are welcome.
11:15am Traditional service of worship in the Meeting House accompanied by the Chancel Choir.  Communion is served the first Sunday of each month.

*Holidays or special services may alter the normal schedule. Please check the web calendar or call the church office for any changes.

During the summer months (generally the second Sunday of June until the Sunday before Labor Day), we have services at 8:00am in the Memorial Garden and 10:00am in the Meeting House, with refreshments at 9:00am on the church grounds.

Visiting with us for the first time and wondering what to wear?

People attend our worship services in a variety of attire.  Summer services and the 8:00am contemplative service tend to be casual and comfortable.  At the 9:30am and 11:15am services, our youth tend to dress casually, while the dress for adults ranges from “Sunday best’ to business casual.  Regardless of your attire, a warm welcome awaits you here.
