Ministry Teams \ Service Ministries

The Service Ministries Team is focused on providing various and fruitful service opportunities to the congregation, enabling us to live out Christ’s call to service of neighbor.  The hope is that by serving others we will not only do our part to transform others’ lives, but will also explore and further our own faith journeys.  The Ministry Team, together with the Director of Missions and Outreach, creates and executes ongoing and special events to support both local and distant benevolences.  These programs vary from delivering or serving food to traveling on a mission trip.  Examples of some of the programs are Give a Meal a Month, Open Door Shelter Lunches, Pacific House Shelter Dinners, Meals on Wheels, Salvation Army Bell Ringing, the Angel and Dove Trees, the All-Church Cleanup, the OG Mission Trip, the Maasai Connection, and AmeriCares HomeFront.  We are always looking for members who are not only passionate about service, but whose enthusiasm draws others into service as well.

Meetings: Periodically throughout the year.
