Christmas Eve on God’s Acre

God's Acre 12/24/11A myriad of offerings to meet a variety of needs; we hope that one or more of these activities will become part of your family’s cherished holiday traditions!

·         Family Service at 4:00pm with carols, Scripture, stories, and a procession of light; participation by the church’s children’s choirs!

·         Festive half-hour services at 6:00 and 7:00pm, with

Caroling on God’s Acre in between at 6:30pm (New Canaan Town Band)

·         11:00pm Contemplative Candlelight Service with the story of Christmas retold through carols, a festival of light ritual, Scripture, and a homily from Rev. Skip Masback. Special music will feature a string quartet and five professional soloists. This service will usher in Christmas Day, and leave you filled with peace and joy. This service will be preceded by a 15-minute special musical Prelude.

This service, in particular, offers a wonderful way for you to invite a friend or an acquaintance who may not have family or a church home close by; invite them and bring them along with you!

Please keep in mind that parking and seating can be challenging for these services, especially the earlier ones; we encourage you to attend, but plan to be here with your family; the earlier, the better. Please obey all posted parking signs, and please do not block driveways or park in the marked fire lane.
